Get ready, Zombies fans! Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is adding a brand new map to its round-based survival mode, and it’s a doozy. Read on for all the details on the upcoming Mansion map.
Black Ops 6 Gets a New Zombies Map: The Mansion
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's fifth new Zombies map is almost here! A sneak peek, courtesy of the official Call of Duty (X) Twitter and Treyarch Studio's X account (March 12, 2025), shows a damaged mansion—flaming cars, black smoke, and fiery interiors set the scene.
The post, captioned "Personal log. Edward Richtoften recording…" and tagged #Zombies, hints at the return of the series favorite, Edward "Eddie" Richtoften, a key figure in Call of Duty: Cold War, which Black Ops 6 remakes.
Sharp-eyed fans have identified the location as the Mansion from Liberty Falls, February 1991 (as per the teaser image). This timeline aligns perfectly with the previous Black Ops 6 Zombies map, The Tomb, suggesting a direct narrative continuation.
Here's a major gameplay change: Treyarch's Instagram confirms the absence of Amalgam enemies on this map. Responding to a fan comment about facing hordes of Amalgams, the developers simply stated, "Nope." This means a potentially smoother, less brutal experience for players, as Amalgams are notoriously tough Elite enemies.
