Heads up: if you're a music lover relying on Spotify for your morning tunes, you might be out of luck today. Reports from Downdetector, a sister site to IGN, indicate that Spotify outages started rolling in around 6 a.m. PT and have continued to surge. We at IGN experienced the same issue, struggling to access the service throughout the morning. Even when we managed to open the app, it stubbornly refused to play any music.

Spotify has officially acknowledged the problem and is actively working to get things back on track. They've also debunked any rumors suggesting that the outage is due to a security hack, putting those concerns to rest.
