In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, the side quest "Hush, My Darling" begins in the Kuttenberg Region, specifically in the village of Miskowitz, located to the west of Kuttenberg City. This quest will put your blacksmithing skills to the test as you navigate through a series of tasks and interactions. Let's dive into how to successfully complete "Hush, My Darling."

Speak with Martha

Your journey starts by visiting Martha, who resides in a house adjacent to the forge in the southeast part of Miskowitz. Upon entering her home, initiate a conversation by asking if she needs any assistance. When she mentions needing a skilled blacksmith, respond with, "I’m a blacksmith! I’d be glad to help," to officially start the "Hush, My Darling" quest.

If you haven't yet, you can also chat with the bailiff standing next to Martha about Matthew from the Dry Devil’s group, using this as a marker to locate her.

Craft Horseshoes

You may already possess the necessary items for this quest. You'll need two Farmer’s Horseshoes, which you might have crafted earlier to enhance your blacksmithing skills. If not, gather two pieces of Scrap Metal and head to the forge to create them. After crafting the horseshoes, return to Martha.

Find Victoria

Martha will inform you that the horseshoes are meant for Victoria, and you'll volunteer to deliver them. Victoria's residence is a short distance south of the forge. Upon arrival, you'll discover that she's not home. Instead, you'll find blood inside her house. Investigate the blood by interacting with it when prompted during "Hush, My Darling" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. Then, report back to Martha about your grim discovery. She will suggest visiting Sigismund’s camp to search for Victoria.

Sigismund’s Camp

Sigismund’s camp is located south of Opatowitz. If you're simultaneously pursuing Matthew from the Dry Devil, you might encounter him on your way to the camp. Once there, locate the camp's blacksmith and inquire about Victoria. He will recall a soldier named Black who took an interest in her. To find Black, head to the infirmary tent, where he's currently ill.

Black will request medicine before assisting you. Provide him with a Digestive Potion to treat his food poisoning. If you don't have one, craft it and return to administer it. Allow a couple of hours for the potion to take effect before he can answer your questions.

Black will reveal that he spoke to Victoria, suggesting she might have gone into the woods to the east. Follow the quest marker on your map to find her seated on a stump.

Victoria is understandably upset, so engage her in conversation about the situation. The dialogue options here do not impact future events, but if you convinced Black to look after her, you can share this assurance with Victoria, giving her hope for the future.
