DC's Absolute Universe: Chronological Reading Guide

DC's All In publishing initiative is a thrilling opportunity for top-tier creators to reimagine the iconic heroes of the DC universe, unbound by traditional continuity. Spearheaded by comics luminaries Scott Snyder and Joshua Williamson, the initiative includes the Absolute Universe, a continuation and expansion of the Absolute Power arc that concluded in 2024. This ongoing saga ushers in a groundbreaking new status quo for the legendary trio of Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, promising to challenge fans' expectations and offer fresh perspectives on these beloved characters.

Since its launch in October, the Absolute Universe has captivated readers with its multiple ongoing series. However, keeping up with the intricate plotlines, timelines, and character developments can be challenging. To help you navigate this expansive universe, we've compiled a comprehensive reading order and chronology for DC's Absolute Universe in 2025.

Note: It's important not to confuse the Absolute Universe titles with DC's "Absolute" collected editions, such as the new Absolute Batman: Zero Year. These are distinct and unrelated.

The Reading Order

For the best experience, start with the recommended reading order for each series, then follow subsequent issues in their release order. Each main Absolute series will consist of a six-issue run, with future trade paperback collections anticipated.
