Destiny 2: Bug Hinders Reputation Progress

Destiny 2's latest Grandmaster Nightfall has unearthed another reputation bug impacting Warlock players. While Destiny 2 has enjoyed a successful period with new content like Into the Light and The Final Shape, recent weeks have seen a surge in game-breaking glitches. Bungie actively addresses these issues, but new bugs frequently appear after each weekly reset.

Recent problems include unintended free rewards in AFK Crucible matches and unlimited Paracausal Shots with the Hawkmoon exotic. Warlocks have previously experienced a Gambit reputation bug hindering their XP gains, and this problem now appears to affect other areas of the game.

The June 25th weekly reset brought back Grandmaster Nightfalls with boosted Vanguard reputation and double rewards. However, Warlocks are reporting significantly lower XP gains compared to Titans and Hunters.

Warlock Reputation Bug in Destiny 2

The community has highlighted this Vanguard reputation double XP issue, noting Warlocks receive less XP from ritual activities. Many players initially dismissed it as a perception issue, but the discrepancy is substantial. Surprisingly, this bug may have persisted for months without official acknowledgment from Bungie. Increased awareness followed reports of flawed XP gains in Gambit matches.

Currently, players are relying on community awareness to pressure Bungie into addressing the problem. Bungie has been actively patching various issues, including Update 8.0.0.5, which addressed numerous problems, tweaked the Ritual Pathfinder, and removed Elemental surges from Dungeons and Raids. However, the Warlock reputation bug remains unresolved.
