During DIGIMON CON 2025, Bandai Namco unveiled their latest project, Digimon Alysion, a new mobile trading card game (TCG) designed to expand the Digimon franchise's reach into the mobile gaming space. This announcement comes on the heels of successful mobile TCGs like Pokémon TCG Pocket and Marvel Snap, positioning Digimon Alysion as a strong contender in the genre.

Digimon Alysion is set to be a free-to-play digital TCG where players can collect cards featuring various Digimon and franchise characters, assemble their decks, and engage in battles with other players. Hara confirmed that players will start their journey with one of three popular Digimon from the original Digimon Adventure anime: Patamon, Gomamon, or DemiDevimon, aligning with fan speculations based on promotional artwork.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger boasts an extensive roster of over 450 Digimon, surpassing its predecessor, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker’s Memory, which had 330 Digimon. The new trailer highlighted some of these Digimon, including Angewomon, Gallantmon, and the beloved Agumon.

Hara also introduced the game's protagonists, Dan Yuki and Kanan Yuki, who are secret agents for the organization ADAMAS, tasked with uncovering threats to both humans and Digimon.
