Torchlight: Infinite’s eighth season, Sandlord, has officially launched, marking the game’s most expansive season to date. This thrilling update introduces a host of new features that significantly alter gameplay, allowing you to construct a floating empire in the sky.
The centerpiece of the season is the Cloud Oasis, a city you'll manage. You'll collect resources in the Netherrealm and transform them into tangible benefits by strategically assigning workers to five different professions. This system unlocks new trade routes, bonuses, and seasonal rewards, blending traditional ARPG combat with strategic simulation elements.
Thea, previously known as a divine channeler, has undergone a sinister transformation into the Blasphemer. She now inflicts Erosion Damage that escalates over time, shifting from blessings to desecration.
The Deep Space region has also seen a major overhaul, introducing five new stages packed with monsters and survival challenges. A new item, Probes, akin to Compasses, occupies its own slot and boosts both your rewards and the difficulty level.
The endgame now features new Legendary Stages, which are rare but offer unique loot setups that can alter your gameplay strategy. Some zones, like the Abyssal Vault, deviate from the norm by containing no enemies, only Mystery Chests ripe for the taking.
Contrastingly, the Sea of Rites challenges you with a non-aggressive goblin swarm. Eliminating them might summon a secret boss, adding an extra layer of excitement. The Supreme Showdown stage introduces the Golden Gaze mechanic, where both you and the bosses can use it to transform enemies into treasure with the right strike.
As Torchlight: Infinite celebrates its second anniversary, you can download the game from the Google Play Store and immerse yourself in the latest season’s adventures.
