But today, Wizards of the Coast has offered a delightful preview to bridge the gap, showcasing over a dozen new cards from the set, including iconic characters like Sephiroth, Yuffie, Cecil, Garland, Chaos, and more. This sneak peek not only includes a variety of new cards but also features several art variations, complementing the four commander cards we've already seen: Tidus, Cloud, Y'shtola, and Terra.

Today's reveal also highlights some unique features of the set, including Summons, which are part of Magic's first-ever Saga creatures that players can summon for aid in battle, as seen with Summon: Shiva in the gallery. Additionally, double-faced cards make a return, showcasing Cecil's dual nature as a Dark Knight and a Redeemed Paladin.
The Final Fantasy set will boast over 100 legendary creature cards, including 55 legendary borderless cards, some of which are illustrated by fan-favorite artists from across the Final Fantasy franchise. This set is not only fully draftable but also Standard-legal and will be released alongside four preconstructed Commander decks. Each deck is themed around a different Final Fantasy game: 6, 7, 10, and 14. These decks will contain 100 cards each, blending new Final Fantasy cards with existing ones adorned with new Final Fantasy art. Mark your calendars for the set's launch on June 13.
