Whether you're a fan or not, Snowprint Studios' Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus stands as perhaps the ultimate Warhammer experience on mobile. Even skeptics can't deny its impressive roster of factions, which is about to grow even larger with a brand new addition!

So what exactly is coming? That's the mystery - we won't know until May 22nd. The announcement will happen during the annual Warhammer Skulls gaming showcase, which will also feature significant discounts across various grimdark games set in the distant future, the Old World, and beyond.

With more than a dozen factions already in Tacticus, the possibilities might seem limited. We could see another Imperium or Chaos variant, but among the xenos races, several factions deserve more spotlight. I have my own theory about which one might appear next.

If I were to speculate about Tacticus' next faction, I'd suggest the recently introduced Leagues of Votann present a strong possibility. This faction of deep-space miners, heavy drinkers, and cloned definitely-not-dwarves made a surprising entrance into the 40k universe.

Appearing in a major game would significantly raise awareness about this intriguing faction. Of course, we might simply get something like Grey Knights or the Inquisition instead.
