Fans of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be thrilled with the new figures featured in this latest wave of Star Wars toys. Nightsister Merrin now has a new figure, and series protagonist Cal Kestis is part of a three-pack set alongside Turgle and Skoova Stev. Notably, Cal's figure includes multiple interchangeable heads, one of which sports a handlebar mustache. According to Houle, this distinctive look was a key focus for the release.

"We wanted to have fun with it," Houle explained to IGN. "This is one of our favorite packs from the panel. We started with the handlebar mustache and mullet, then added the clean-cut and short beard. The handlebar look became our primary focus; it's just so much fun."

Including Merrin in the lineup was essential, given her significant role in the Fallen Order/Survivor saga. The challenge was to accurately capture her unique Force abilities.

"It's tough to have Cal without Merrin," Reiff said. "We're thrilled to finally include her, but capturing that green Force blast and the intricate details of her new costume and face tattoos with inkjet printing was a challenge. There's some beautiful subtlety there. She's a beloved character, and we know fans are invested in her story."

This year's lineup also features two familiar faces, Han Solo and Chewbacca. Despite numerous past iterations, Houle believes there's still room for improvement.

"It's been a while since we last updated them," Houle noted. "We've given them new tools with the latest articulation, ensuring fans can enjoy these classic characters with modern technology. We've made several enhancements beyond just articulation. Learning from our previous Wookiee figures, we used softer plastics for Chewbacca's long hair to allow for seamless head movement. For Han, we've added articulation at the top of his boot to keep the red bars on his thigh intact."

The standout figure of this lineup is The Ronin, inspired by the anime anthology series Star Wars: Visions. Staying true to the series, The Ronin is a black-and-white figure with only his red katana lightsaber providing color. As a Celebration-exclusive release, both Houle and Reiff emphasized the importance of getting the details right.

"We stayed true to the original design," Houle said. "We incorporated elements of Japanese culture into the packaging, from its premium look to the use of magnets for opening and the hidden accessories on the top. The watercoloring and overall cleanliness of the design reflect our attention to detail from packaging to engineering."

Reiff added, "We even included Japanese language on the exclusive packaging, which is not typical for us. Given that we're in Japan, we wanted to fully embrace the culture and create a special package entirely in Japanese."

Hasbro also unveiled a new addition to their 1:1 scale Black Series helmet line, introducing a meticulously detailed Death Trooper helmet during the Celebration panel.

"This is a brand new tooled helmet for our Black Series Premium roleplay line," Reiff explained. "It looks like it's straight out of the movie with its weathering and lighting details. A button on the side controls the chin and spectre sensor lights. We worked closely with Lucasfilm using original files to capture every detail accurately, and we've added a detailed interior to our helmet, something the real ones never had."
