Hearthstone's Timeways Expansion Adds Legendary Heroes

Hearthstone invites you on a thrilling, time-bending journey with its latest expansion, Across the Timeways, launching on November 4th. This new chapter follows Chromie of the Bronze Dragonflight as she uncovers a grave danger threatening the fabric of time itself.

What is Chromie's story?

From her station at the Temporal Conflux, Chromie discovers that Murozond is corrupting the timeline. As the fallen Lord of the Infinite, he is steering every possible reality toward an inescapable, catastrophic future.

To avert this disaster, Chromie ventures across different eras and dimensions, rallying 11 legendary heroes from various points in Warcraft history to join her cause.

Across the Timeways introduces two major new keywords to Hearthstone. The first, Fabled, allows you to call upon iconic heroes from Warcraft's past, future, and alternate realities.

Each class receives its own Fabled hero, like Sylvanas or Gelbin. These Legendary cards also include bonus cards that are automatically added to your deck.

The second keyword, Rewind, introduces direct time manipulation into the game. It lets you replay cards with random effects, offering another chance to alter the outcome of your match.

New cards such as Timeway Warden can imprison a minion for a staggering 10,000 turns. Meanwhile, Divergence creates two alternate versions of a single minion.

Across the Timeways marks the return of Timelord Nozdormu to Hearthstone!

Timelord Nozdormu’s arrival is deeply connected to the lore of the Timeways—the magical pathways that connect every reality in the Warcraft universe. The Bronze Dragonflight, led by Nozdormu and his cheerful gnome form Chromie, are the guardians of these corridors.

Their greatest threat, however, emerges from within. Nozdormu's own future self becomes Murozond, whose fear of mortality transforms him into the very villain he once fought against. He creates the Infinite Dragonflight and seeks to reshape reality into the desolate End Time.
