Eagle-eyed fans of Helldivers 2 have uncovered a tantalizing leak from PlayStation, hinting at an upcoming battle against the Illuminate on the streets of Super Earth. This week, developer Arrowhead rolled out the full-scale Illuminate invasion, introducing new enemy types to the mix. The in-game narrative strongly suggested that the Illuminate were setting their sights on Super Earth, and a leak from the official Czech Republic Threads account now indicates that the Illuminate will indeed reach our home planet, forcing players to defend it.
The leak, first spotted by Redditor xTekshi, mentioned a "Heart of Democracy" update slated for May 20. Although "Heart of Democracy" has been referenced in the official communications surrounding this week's update, neither Sony nor Arrowhead have officially confirmed its association with a May 20 release. The timing of this potential update aligns perfectly with the conclusion of the current Major Order, adding credence to the leak.
The official PlayStation account for the Czech Republic inadvertently shared details about the next title update, stating:

Both Sony and Arrowhead have hinted at the inevitability of this development, using phrases like “High Command believes this Fleet's ultimate objective to be the invasion of Super Earth itself” and “Battle on Super Earth is inevitable.” This has led fans to speculate that the Czech account's post was an accidental leak of Helldivers 2's next major update, which would bring the fight to Super Earth itself.
If these rumors hold true, this would mark a significant evolution for the explosive third-person action game, which to date has featured only alien planet maps. Engaging in combat on Super Earth would introduce a fresh and exciting dimension to the gameplay.
