Jump King, the challenging 2D platformer that has become a legendary test for gamers who enjoy a good rage-quit, has now made its way to mobile devices. Developed by Nexile and published by UKIYO Publishing, the game has been released globally for Android and iOS platforms following a successful soft launch in the UK, Canada, the Philippines, and Denmark in March of this year. This mobile version brings the same intense and unforgiving jumping mechanics that were introduced on PC in 2019 and consoles in 2020.
In Jump King, you take on the role of an armored character whose sole mission is to jump. Sounds simple, right? Wrong. Each jump requires precision and timing, with no room for error. A single misstep sends you plummeting back to the start, though the game auto-saves every jump, so you don't lose your progress entirely. Your ultimate goal? To reach the top and meet the enigmatic Smoking Hot Babe of Legend. But don’t expect any favors; one wrong move and it’s back to square one.
The controls on mobile have been finely tuned for accuracy. You charge your jump by holding down, then release to leap. It’s a test of precision, patience, and often, the panic that leads to those fateful, poorly timed decisions.
Jump King Mobile operates on a heart-based system. You begin with 300 hearts, losing one each time you fall. To replenish your hearts, you can spin a daily fortune wheel to win between 10 and 150 hearts or watch ads to earn up to 150 free hearts.
The mobile version also includes two full expansions to keep you engaged. New Babe+ offers a second chapter with a unique and intense new path, while Ghost of the Babe introduces a haunting third act set in an eerily empty landscape beyond Philosopher’s Forest.
If Jump King piques your interest, you can download it now from the Google Play Store.
