Jurassic Park Movie Count

There are six feature-length Jurassic films – three Jurassic Park movies and three Jurassic World films. Jurassic World: Rebirth will be the seventh. The franchise also includes two short films and an animated Netflix series, incorporated into the chronologies below.

Four years later, Ian Malcolm and John Hammond return, joined by paleontologist Sarah Harding (Julianne Moore). The action shifts to Isla Sorna, an abandoned island teeming with dinosaurs. A corporate power struggle leads to a clash between those seeking to exploit the dinosaurs and those aiming to protect them. A T-Rex escapes to San Diego, causing chaos.

3. Jurassic Park III (2001)

Alan Grant returns (with a smaller Ellie Sattler appearance), four years after The Lost World. On Isla Sorna, he's hired for a rescue mission, only to face hostile velociraptors. The film concludes with a 14-year gap before the next installment.

4. Jurassic World (2015)

Twenty-two years after the original, Isla Nublar hosts a new, fully operational theme park. 5. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018)
