KEMCO Releases Novel Rogue: A Card Deck-Building Roguelite for Android

KEMCO has launched a captivating new roguelite game on Android titled *Novel Rogue*, blending the charm of card deck-building with the allure of fantasy JRPGs and pixel art. This game is steeped in the magic of books, strategic gameplay, and intriguing narratives. You step into the shoes of Wright, an eager apprentice to Yuisil, the Witch of Portals, located in the mystical Ancient Library. Wright embarks on adventures within the pages of four enchanted books, each transporting him to unique worlds.

In one book, you assist a princess knight in her quest to reclaim a lost kingdom. Another leads you into the enigmatic underworld. Your choices in these stories dynamically alter the worlds you explore, ensuring each playthrough is a fresh experience.

What’s the Gameplay of Novel Rogue Like?

At its heart, *Novel Rogue* features a turn-based card battle system that adapts to the world of each book you dive into. The game boasts four distinct worlds, each with its unique deck-building mechanics. As you progress, you'll battle enemies and, after each victory, select from three new cards to enhance your deck, striving to craft the ultimate arsenal.

A standout feature is the Change command, which allows you to redistribute damage among your allies, adding a strategic layer to your battles. The Novel Power system lets you fortify your deck using ink, while the Deep Record mode ramps up the challenge for those seeking intense combat experiences.

Exploration yields treasures that you can gift to characters, strengthening your bonds and paving the way to unlock a special ending. For those interested in aesthetics, Witch Stones offer the ability to customize character costumes with your preferred styles.

*Novel Rogue* is freely available on the Google Play Store, with a premium version offering 150 bonus Witch Stones and additional benefits, including an ad-free experience.
