The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition launches exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 on June 5. This premium version includes the original Switch game with enhanced Switch 2 optimizations, plus bonus Zelda Notes accessible through the Nintendo Switch app. Preorders are now live (available at Target). The premium price reflects Nintendo's new pricing strategy for Switch 2 titles. While most Switch games launched at $59.99, Tears of the Kingdom was one of few exceptions priced at $69.99. Nintendo maintains this base price while adding a $10 premium for Switch 2 enhancements.

Standalone Upgrade Option Available

This edition includes both the original Switch version and Switch 2 upgrade pack. Existing owners can purchase just the $10 upgrade separately.
