LEGO has unveiled nine all-new Star Wars sets set to launch on May 1, 2025, as part of Disney's expansive May the 4th (Star Wars Day) celebrations. Traditionally, LEGO marks this event by debuting an Ultimate Collector Series starship - in 2023 with Luke's X-Wing Starfighter and in 2024 with the TIE Interceptor.
This year's showcase piece is Jango Fett's Firespray Starship, historically known to fans as Slave I (view on LEGO Store). The name change, originally implemented in 2021 at Disney's request (confirmed by LEGO), appears permanent, likely due to brand alignment concerns regarding the previous terminology.
The massive 2,970-piece set represents Jango's ship from Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones, marking a significant upgrade from its last major 2019 iteration (1,007 pieces based on The Empire Strikes Back). The new model measures an impressive 7.5"H × 17.5"L × 15.5"W.
