Liam Hemsworth Debuts as Geralt in The Witcher Season 5 Set Photos

The White Wolf is back for the last time as production for the final season of *The Witcher* is currently underway. Excitement is building with new photos of Liam Hemsworth as the iconic Geralt de Rivia circulating online. These seemingly leaked set photos, available via the fan site Redanian Intelligence, showcase the *Hunger Games* star in full costume, complete with the character's signature long blonde hair. Alongside Hemsworth, familiar faces such as Meng'er Zhang as Milva and Joey Batey as Jaskier, who have been part of the series since Henry Cavill led the cast, are also featured.

Hemsworth was announced to replace Cavill for Season 4 and the concluding Season 5 back in October 2022. The leaked images have sparked discussions and speculation among fans, especially since they also reveal new characters set to be introduced in Season 4, who will carry over into the final season. Notably, legendary actor Laurence Fishburne, known for his role in *Morbius*, will portray Emiel Reigs.

The set photos suggest that Season 5 might draw inspiration from Andrzej Sapkowski’s *Tower of the Swallow*, where Geralt encounters beekeepers who guide him toward druids. However, with Season 4 yet to be released, the narrative could take numerous turns before reaching its conclusion.

It's not just Cavill who has left the series; Kim Bodnia, who played Geralt’s mentor Vesemir, will also not return for Season 4 due to scheduling conflicts. Netflix has yet to announce Bodnia's replacement or an official release date for Season 4, keeping fans eagerly awaiting more updates.
