Get ready for a blast from the past! HaoPlay Limited's upcoming title, Metal Slug: Awakening, is bringing the classic arcade action back to mobile devices. Launching globally on July 18th, 2024, pre-registration is now open.

A Modern Revival of a 90s Classic

Metal Slug: Awakening offers a fresh take on the iconic run-and-gun series, originally launched in 1996 by Nazca Corporation. Following a period of development and several name changes (initially teased as Metal Slug Code: J in 2020), and a Southeast Asia release in late 2023, the game is finally ready for a worldwide launch. While previous mobile entries like Metal Slug Defense, Metal Slug Attack, and Metal Slug Commander paved the way, Awakening promises a significant upgrade.

Expect Enhanced Gameplay and Familiar Faces

The game retains the core shooter mechanics that defined the series but boasts updated graphics and new gameplay elements. Rejoin your favorite Metal Slug characters as you embark on new missions. Features include a World Adventure mode, 3-player cooperative Team-up battles, and challenging Roguelike game modes.
