Metaphor: ReFantazio - How To Beat Faithwight Magileto

Conquering the Faithwight Magileto in Metaphor: ReFantazio

Metaphor: ReFantazio's dungeons often feature formidable mini-bosses, and the Faithwight Magileto in the Spire of Blind Faith is a prime example. This challenging encounter requires strategic planning and a bit of luck to overcome, even for well-leveled players.

Faithwight Magileto: Weaknesses and Abilities

This level 50 enemy can summon additional level 50 foes, making it ill-advised to engage below level 45. Its arsenal includes devastating dark and light magic attacks targeting single characters or the entire party, including the potent Megidolaon. Passive buffs further amplify the damage of these elements. The Magileto also utilizes Soul Scream for extra Press Turn icons and can summon skeletal allies.

These summoned skeletons wield slashing attacks and dark magic, boasting a powerful buff and access to high-level healing spells, often restoring the Magileto to full health. Their weakness lies in Strike attacks.

Strategies for Victory

Even at level 50, this battle presents a significant challenge. Preparation is key:

  • Archetype Selection: Prioritize Archetypes resistant to dark and light damage (Warlock, Thief). Skill inheritance of Strike skills from the Brawler Archetype is crucial. Consider acquiring Dark Dodge (Magic Knight) and Light Dodge (Healer).
  • Skill Focus: Maximize Press Turn icons by utilizing Strike attacks. Ensure at least two party members possess party-wide healing spells.
  • Enemy Prioritization: Quickly eliminate summoned allies before their healing magic can restore the Magileto's health. Dekaja can dispel enemy buffs.
  • Turn Strategy: Aim for at least six Strike attacks and two party-wide heals per turn.

This fight involves an element of chance; consecutive Megidolaons are nearly unsurvivable. Dark and Light Dodge on most party members increases survivability. Focusing on consistent Strike attacks while maintaining party health is the path to victory.
