Monster Hunter Now Is Testing Out a New Monster Outbreaks Feature

Exciting times are ahead for Monster Hunter Now players with Niantic's introduction of the Monster Outbreaks feature, currently in its testing phase. This new addition aims to bring an exhilarating twist to the game, and Niantic is eager to gather player feedback to refine it before its official launch.

When Is the Monster Outbreaks Testing in Monster Hunter Now?

Mark your calendars for April 26th to 27th, as the Monster Outbreaks testing will take place over these two days. The event is scheduled to occur twice daily, from 10:00 to 10:59 a.m. and again from 3:00 to 3:59 p.m., local time. This gives you multiple opportunities to dive into the action.

During the testing phase, specific outbreak points on the map will be swarming with 8-star Black Diablos. The objective is to collaborate with other players and collectively take down 100 of these formidable creatures at each outbreak location within the one-hour window. Note that the goal is 100 per outbreak spot, not globally.

To participate, you must have reached at least HR 11. Additionally, the party feature won't be available; only in-person group hunts will count towards the goal. Outbreak points are easily identifiable on the map with a unique icon. By tapping on these icons, you can access more details and even sign up on a roster to coordinate with other hunters.

Black Diablos Is Rolling Up with Serious Boss Energy, in Swarm Mode!

The mechanics of the slay count are intriguing. If you team up with three other hunters and successfully take down one Black Diablos, it counts as four towards the 100 required to reach the goal. Should your group hit the 100-mark before the hour is up, you can continue hunting Black Diablos for the remainder of the time.

Successful completion of the 100-monster goal rewards your group with valuable items: 3 Black Diablos Tailcases, 3 Ridges, 3 Primeshells, 3 Marrows, and 2,000 Zenny. Additionally, using the sign-up roster at an outbreak point qualifies you for a special Outbreak Test I Medal.

Are you ready to join the fray? Download Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and gear up for the Monster Outbreaks testing this weekend. Don't miss out on this thrilling new feature and the chance to collaborate with fellow hunters to conquer the Black Diablos swarm!
