Monster Hunter Wilds: Top Weapon Tier List

While *Monster Hunter Wilds* lacks PvP, choosing the right weapons is crucial for efficient hunts. This tier list ranks *Monster Hunter Wilds* weapons based on damage, versatility, and skill, but remember, every weapon type is viable; choose what feels best for you.

I personally preferred the Switch Axe despite its lower damage, simply because it's fun. Here's the tier list:

TierWeapon
SBow, Gunlance, Long Sword
AGreat Sword, Charge Blade, Hunting Horn, Dual Blades
BSword and Shield, Insect Glaive
CLance, Switch Axe, Light Bowgun, Heavy Bowgun, Hammer

S-Tier

The Bow maintains its dominance from *Monster Hunter World*, excelling at safe, long-range damage. Its skills further boost DPS, making it a top choice. The Gunlance boasts high DPS, while the Long Sword offers parrying and counter capabilities.

A-Tier

The Great Sword, while potentially high-DPS, requires mastery due to its slow speed. S-tier weapons often outperform it. The Hunting Horn shines in multiplayer, offering substantial damage and support. The Charge Blade's defensive capabilities and dual modes make it versatile, though mastering its mechanics takes time.

This concludes our *Monster Hunter Wilds* weapon tier list. For more game tips, including armor sets and Armor Sphere acquisition, check out The Escapist.
