Morikomori Life has officially launched on Android and iOS devices, exclusively in Japan, brought to you by Realfun Studio. Interestingly, it was initially released in China by Level Infinite under Tencent Games, but the Chinese version was discontinued about a year ago.
One of the standout features of Morikomori Life is its captivating visuals. The developers have masterfully captured the essence of a cozy rural life through anime-inspired, specifically Studio Ghibli-style art. The game's scenes look as if they've been directly lifted from a Ghibli animated film, offering a truly immersive experience.
In the game, you step into the shoes of Kaon, a young Japanese girl who receives a mysterious letter from her grandmother, inviting her to visit the village of Komori, her childhood home. As Kaon, you embark on a journey to rediscover the tranquility of rural living. The 3D toon shading in Komori beautifully enhances the warm, inviting feel of Japan's countryside, making every moment in the game feel authentic and serene.
