The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid Season Cup (MSC) is set to electrify Riyadh once again in 2025 as part of the Esports World Cup, boasting an impressive $3 million prize pool. This event underscores the EWC's dedication to mobile esports, with MSC slated to return in the 2026 tournament as well.
The Wildcard stage, a crucial opportunity for teams to secure their place in the main event, will run from July 10th to 13th during the EWC Festival. Following this, the main MSC tournament will unfold from July 23rd to August 2nd, showcasing 16 of the globe's top MLBB teams.
The tournament format remains tried and true, featuring a group stage with two double-elimination brackets, each consisting of eight teams. This will be followed by a single-elimination playoff involving the top eight teams. In addition to the hefty prize pool, the tournament MVP will receive a $10,000 bonus.
Qualification events are in full swing worldwide. Teams from powerhouse regions such as MPL Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, and LATAM are battling for coveted spots, while champions from regions like Cambodia, Türkiye, and Myanmar are either already qualified or on the verge of securing their positions.
The North America Challenger Tournament has concluded, with BloodThirstyKings clinching their berth. The MSC x EWC China Qualifier and the MSC Wildcard in July will finalize the lineup for the tournament.
