She resides in the stables, but requires purchase to ride during your quest with Jan Semine, aptly titled "The Jaunt." Considered Henry's loyal companion, much like Mutt (found through side quests), she holds a special place.

After completing "For Whom the Bell Tolls," Herring becomes available. If you haven't acquired another horse, Otto von Bergow gifts him to you. Otherwise, sell him to Kabat for 300 Groschen.
