Pokemon Go\'s upcoming Scattered to the Winds event lets you nab new Shiny Pokemon

February might be chilly, but Pokémon Go is heating things up with its exciting new event: Scattered to the Wind! This event brings a flurry of new rewards, research tasks, and boosted encounter rates for shiny Pokémon.

Get ready for double XP from PokéStops and a whopping 5x XP bonus for your first spin of the day! You can also open up to 40 Gifts daily (or 60 with the Eggs-pedition Access: February ticket). Plus, you'll have an increased chance to encounter a Shiny Pidgey.
