Pokémon GO's March 2025 Community Day Lineup and Beloved Buddies Event Details

Get ready for a fiery start to March in Pokémon GO! Fuecoco, the Fire Croc Pokémon, ignites the first Community Day event of the month.

Fuecoco Community Day: March 8th, 2025

Fuecoco will be making frequent appearances on the map from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (local time) on March 8th, 2025, with a boosted Shiny rate. Evolving your Fuecoco to Skeledirge (via Crocalor) within one week of the event will teach it the Charged Attack Blast Burn. Skeledirge can also learn Torch Song anytime.

A special Timed Research event will offer a Fuecoco encounter with a Seasonal Special Background and further enhance Shiny encounter chances. This research will be available until 10:00 PM (local time) on March 15th, 2025.

For $2.00, a Community Day Special Research ticket grants three Fuecoco encounters (with Seasonal Special Backgrounds), Battle Passes, and Rare Candies. This ticket is giftable to Great Friends and above.

Beloved Buddies Event: Choose Your Path!

The Beloved Buddies event, featuring Dhelmise, offers Timed Research with two branching paths: one focusing on friendship with your Buddy Pokémon and Candela (Team Valor), the other on catching Pokémon and battling Arlo (Team GO Rocket).

Initial tasks reward Ultra Balls, Remoraid, and Mantine encounters. Choosing a path unlocks different rewards:

Candela Path: Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, Luvdisc, Shellder, and Rapidash encounters.

Arlo Path: Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, Pocket Radar, Cubone, Slowpoke, and Scizor encounters.
