Pokémon GO Unveils Major May 2025 Updates

May 2025 promises an action-packed lineup for Pokémon GO trainers. The month features exciting raids and events, with the highlight being the highly anticipated return of the Lake Trio in global 5-Star Raids.

Pokémon GO's May 2025 Event Calendar

The month begins with Tapu Fini appearing in Five-Star raids from May 1-12, featuring its signature Nature's Madness attack and potential Shiny encounters.

Starting May 12, trainers worldwide can encounter different Legendary Pokémon based on their location: Uxie in Asia-Pacific, Mesprit across Europe/Middle East/Africa/India, and Azelf in the Americas/Greenland.

Following the Lake Trio's departure, Tapu Bulu arrives from May 25-June 3 with Nature's Madness and Shiny availability.

Mega Raid enthusiasts won't be disappointed either. May features Mega Houndoom (May 1-12), Mega Gyarados (May 12-25), and Mega Altaria (May 25-June 3).

The "Growing Up" event runs May 2-7, followed by Mega Kangaskhan Raid Day on May 3. Later encounters include:
