The excitement for Pokémon TCG's upcoming set, Destined Rivals, is palpable, and I'm already preparing my shelf space while trying to convince myself I won't splurge on an Elite Trainer Box. This set not only brings back the concept of Trainer's Pokémon but also reintroduces Team Rocket for another round of villainous antics. Moreover, the card art in this set is some of the finest we've seen, making it a must-have for collectors and players alike who thrive on the thrill of new cards.
The Pokémon Center website underwent some intriguing "maintenance" and is now accepting preorders. If you miss out on this, keep an eye on Amazon, Target, Best Buy, and other major retailers where listings are expected to go live soon. It's time to refresh those pages like it's Black Friday for the latest battle decks. Here's a comprehensive guide to securing your preorder this week:

Destined Origins Cards I’ve Got My Eye On
I'm already envisioning multiple binders filled with these cards, but a few have already captured my heart:
Cynthia’s Garchomp ex: A powerhouse card that combines big damage with hand draw, embodying the essence of a Champion. I'm aiming to get three of these.
Ethan’s Ho-Oh ex: A stunning blend of utility and beauty, with an ability to accelerate Fire Energy and a healing move that's simply game-changing. I'm utterly obsessed.
Team Rocket’s Mewtwo ex: Dramatic and demanding, this card only attacks if you've built a full Rocket-themed deck around it. Its energy manipulation is chaotic and thrilling.
Misty’s Psyduck: A card that's as amusing as it is strategic, with an ability to shuffle itself back to the top of your deck. It's quirky and perfect.
Marnie’s Grimmsnarl ex: A dark and disruptive force, ideal for energy acceleration and frustrating opponents. It's a throwback to 2020's competitive scene, and I'm ready to dive back in.
I don’t usually get excited about Magic: The Gathering deals unless they involve a substantial discount or a chance to pick up chase cards without pawning my fetch lands. But the current Best Buy Deal of the Day has me genuinely interested, and not just because I’m weak in the face of shiny foils an
If you have nostalgic memories of the 1986 game Fireball Island, which featured marbles rolling down paths on a 3D board, you'll appreciate the excitement of Jumanji Stampede. While Fireball Island was revamped in 2018 as Fireball Island: The Curse of Vul-Kar (available at Amazon), Jumanji Stampede
