Acquiring the Preserves Jar

The Preserves Jar, essential for jelly-making, is obtained in two ways:

• Farming Level 4: Reach this farming level to unlock the recipe.
• Quality Crops Bundle: Complete this bundle in the Community Center. This requires submitting three gold-quality crops (pumpkins, melons, corn, or parsnips), with five of each selected crop. All must be gold quality.

Once obtained, you can begin crafting your Spice Berry Jelly.

Spice Berry Jelly Production

1. Gather Spice Berries: These can be found during summer explorations or within the Farm Cave (accessible year-round). Use a Seed Maker to create Summer Seeds for planting.

2. Construct (or Obtain) a Preserves Jar: Requires 50 Wood, 40 Stone, and 8 Coal, or is awarded upon completing the Quality Crops Bundle.

3. Create the Jelly: Place a Spice Berry into the Preserves Jar. The process takes approximately two to three in-game days (54 hours). Start this before extended periods away from your farm to maximize efficiency. The jar will pulse while the jelly is being made.

4. Harvest Your Jelly: Once complete, the Spice Berry Jelly icon appears above the jar. Collect it! Sell for 160 gold or consume to replenish energy.
