Stardew Valley: How To Befriend The Dwarf

This guide delves into the enigmatic Dwarf, a unique character in Stardew Valley. Unlike other villagers, befriending the Dwarf requires deciphering Dwarvish, a language unlocked through artifact collection.

Meeting the Dwarf:

Locate the Dwarf in the mines, behind a boulder on the first floor (easily broken with a copper pickaxe or bomb).

Learning Dwarvish:

Donate all four Dwarf Scrolls to the museum to receive the Dwarvish Translation guide. This unlocks communication with the Dwarf.

Gift Guide:

Gift giving is crucial for building friendship. The Dwarf accepts two gifts weekly. His birthday (Summer 22nd) doubles friendship point gains.

The Dwarf attends movie screenings. He loves all movie selections but prefers Stardrop Sorbet and Rock Candy. He likes Cotton Candy, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jawbreaker, Salmon Burger, Sour Slimes, and Star Cookie. Other concessions are disliked.
