Stellar Blade's Festive Holiday Update: A Cozy Christmas in Xion

Stellar Blade is decking the halls (and Xion!) with its holiday-themed update, arriving December 17th. This update brings festive costumes, decorations, a new mini-game, and more!

New Holiday Outfits and Decorations

Get into the holiday spirit with brand-new Christmas-themed attire for Eve and other characters! The update includes:

• Santa Dress (Eve)
• Rudolph Pack (Drone)
• I’m No Santa (Adam)

Eve's festive look can be completed with a Santa Girl hairstyle and accessories like Snow Crystal Glasses, Wreath Earrings, and Sleigh Ear Cuffs.

Xion receives a festive makeover, adorned with warm lights and red, green, and white decorations. The Last Gulp and Eve's camp also get the holiday treatment, complemented by new seasonal BGM ("Dawn (Winter)" and "Take me away").

A New Mini-Game

A holiday-themed mini-game makes its debut! While details are scarce, players can expect to earn special rewards by targeting a hovering drone.

Control Seasonal Content

The update introduces an option to enable or disable seasonal content, including the Nier:Automata DLC, in the game's Gameplay settings. Choose from:

• Auto: Automatically enables/disables based on the season.
• Disable: Deactivates seasonal content regardless of the season.
• Enable: Activates seasonal content regardless of the season.

Note: Changing this setting requires a restart from the most recent save.

Mixed Reception

While the announcement was met with excitement by many fans—with some playfully calling Eve "Christmas Eve"—some expressed concerns about the frequency of event updates in a single-player game with a relatively short playtime (around 30 hours). The need to restart the game to fully experience the seasonal content is also a point of contention.
