Get ready for some fiery action! Mai Shiranui joins the Street Fighter 6 roster on February 5th, bringing her iconic moveset with exciting new twists. The latest gameplay trailer showcases her in stunning detail, finally filling the content gap since Terry Bogard's arrival on September 24th, 2024.

This highly anticipated addition, revealed at Summer Game Fest as part of Street Fighter 6's Year 2 DLC collaboration with SNK, features both Mai's classic Fatal Fury attire and a brand new costume from Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. While retaining her signature moves, Capcom has updated her gameplay with unique motion inputs replacing traditional charge attacks. She also gains the ability to build "Flame Stacks" for enhanced move capabilities.

Mai's story in Street Fighter 6 sees her searching for Terry Bogard's brother, Andy, in Metro City, leading to clashes with other characters like Juri. This contrasts with Terry's storyline, which focused on challenging strong opponents.

The extended wait between DLC releases has caused some fan frustration, particularly regarding the lack of character skins in recent battle passes.
