IDW recently rebooted its flagship Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic series, but the saga isn't over yet. This April marks the release of TMNT: The Last Ronin II - Re-Evolution #5, the explosive final chapter where a new generation of Turtles fights for survival in New York's dystopian future.

The finale is crafted by Kevin Eastman and Tom Waltz, featuring artwork from Ben Bishop and the Escorza brothers.

IDW's official synopsis teases:

The Last Ronin II reaches its earth-shattering conclusion as war consumes New York's streets. Casey, April, and the new Turtles face mortal danger — who will survive? Legendary creators Eastman and Waltz deliver the ultimate fate of these fan-favorite characters.

"We wanted fresh takes on these characters," Eastman told IGN. "With two male and two female Turtles, Tom and I captured authentic teenage voices. Like the original team, they'll argue but ultimately unite as family — that unbreakable bond remains TMNT's core."
