Freedom Wars Remastered: Mastering the Art of Saving
In Freedom Wars Remastered's fast-paced world of Abductor battles and Panopticon time limits, manual saving is paramount. While the game features an autosave function triggered after missions, dialogues, and cutscenes, relying solely on this isn't recommended due to its unreliability. This guide details how to ensure your progress is secure.
Saving Your Progress
The game's initial tutorial, while informative, can be overwhelming. You'll likely notice a save icon occasionally appearing onscreen. However, for reliable progress preservation, utilize the manual save feature. Freedom Wars Remastered only allows a single save file, preventing the creation of multiple save states for revisiting past decisions.
To manually save, interact with your Accessory in your Panopticon Cell. Select "Save Data" (the second option). Your Accessory will confirm, and your progress will be saved.
This single save file system means crucial choices are permanent. PlayStation Plus subscribers can utilize cloud saves as a workaround to create backups and potentially revert to earlier points if needed.
Frequent Saving is Key
Given the possibility of game crashes, frequent manual saving is strongly advised to prevent the loss of significant gameplay progress. Make saving a regular habit, especially before challenging missions or extended play sessions.
