Begin your journey by accepting the side quest "Lackey," which you can start from Zlata at Gamemaster Vostatek's home, located to the west of Tachov. Alternatively, you can speak with Vitek, who is slightly southeast of the house (marked by the B on the map above), as Zlata will send you to him first. This initiates your adventure northward, where you'll encounter Vostatek being attacked by wolves.

After rescuing Vostatek from the wolves, he requests that you carry him to his camping spot where he left his horse, Pepik. Following his directions is straightforward, but be mindful of your stamina; dropping too low means you'll drop Vostatek.
Upon reaching the campsite, Vostatek discovers that Pepik is missing. Your task then shifts to tracking Pepik by following the clues along the path. Each clue prompts you to stop and examine it before continuing your search, which leads you to a poacher's camp.

As Vostatek feared, Pepik has been taken by poachers in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Fortunately, the poachers' movements allow you to engage them in smaller groups rather than all at once. It's easier to take out those wandering near the camp's edge, and many will surrender before you finish them off. You can avoid the tougher opponents inside the camp by quickly riding Pepik away. Note that you won't have the chance to rest between finding Vostatek and Pepik, so your health might be affected depending on how the wolf fight went.
Return Pepik to Vostatek's camp. When you talk to Vostatek, you can choose to ride back to his home with him, which serves as a fast travel option. Upon arrival, you'll be rewarded with Groschen and a place to stay whenever you need it.
Having successfully found Pepik for Vostatek in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you're now free to pursue other quests or a romance, and you can use the money earned to purchase additional equipment if necessary.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
