Since 2018, World of Warcraft has delighted its community with bonus rewards for longer subscription commitments, typically refreshing them in January and July. These rewards often align with the lunar Zodiac signs, such as the Auspicious Arborwyrm for the Year of the Wood Dragon in 2024.

For 2025, the first new six-month subscription offer includes the Timbered Sky Snake, a flying mount representing the Year of the Wood Snake in retail WoW, and the Timbered Air Snakelet, its smaller counterpart for Cataclysm Classic. These items are automatically granted with a six-month subscription, but they can also be purchased separately from the in-game store for $25 and $10 respectively.
