While World of Warcraft's 20th Anniversary celebration has concluded, exciting events continue to engage players awaiting Patch 11.1. The return of the Turbulent Timeways event offers a unique reward system.

Turbulent Timeways Event Details

Unlike typical, more spread-out Timewalking events, Turbulent Timeways features five consecutive weeks of Timewalking dungeons (January 1st - February 25th), each week highlighting a different expansion:

• Week 1: Mists of Pandaria (January 7th - 14th)
• Week 2: Warlords of Draenor (January 14th - 21st)
• Week 3: Legion (January 21st - 28th)
• Week 4: Classic (January 28th - February 4th)
• Week 5: The Burning Crusade (February 4th - 11th)
• Week 6: Wrath of the Lich King (February 11th - 18th)
• Week 7: Cataclysm (February 18th - 25th)

Completing a Timewalking dungeon grants a "Knowledge of Timeways" buff (5% increased XP from quests and kills, two-hour duration, persists through death). Four stacks upgrade to "Mastery of Timeways" (30% increased XP, three-hour duration, persists through death). The buff timer refreshes with each dungeon completion. Maintaining four stacks of Knowledge of Timeways is crucial to obtain Mastery of Timeways. Avoid extended AFK periods to prevent buff expiration.

Turbulent Timeways Rewards

Beyond the leveling benefits, this event offers rewards. The Sandy Shalewing mount, previously available, returns, purchasable for 5,000 Timewarped Badges from Timewalking vendors.

A new mount, the Timely Buzzbee, is also obtainable. Players must achieve the Mastery of Timeways buff during five of the seven event weeks to earn it.
