WoW Unveils Warband Campsites

World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 introduces customizable character selection screens with collectible campsites! Four new campsites debut, with more promised in future updates.

Players can personalize their character selection screen with these new backgrounds. Blizzard's recent reveal detailed the ability to set multiple camps per character, each with customizable names and unlockable backgrounds.

The World of Warcraft Public Test Realm (PTR) showcases this new system, including the initial four campsites: Ohn'ahran Overlook, Cultists' Quay, Freywold Spring, and Gallagio Grand Gallery. New Campsites in World of Warcraft Patch 11.1

The Ohn’ahran Overlook is automatically unlocked upon logging in after Patch 11.1. The Cultists’ Quay is earned via the Season 2 Delver’s Journey. Freywold Spring and Gallagio Grand Gallery require completing the "All That Khaz" and "Racing to a Revolution" meta-achievements, respectively.

The Collections pane now features a dedicated tab for these campsites, enabling preview and unlocking. A new tab on the character select screen allows players to select their preferred campsite or randomize between favorites.

This customization builds upon the Warbands system from World of Warcraft: The War Within, demonstrating Blizzard's commitment to ongoing innovation. Future updates will likely introduce additional campsites alongside other collectibles through various means, including new content, older zones, holiday events, the Trading Post, and potentially the in-game store.
