Maple Tale: A Retro Pixel RPG That's Strikingly Familiar

LUCKYYX Games' Maple Tale enters the crowded pixel RPG arena, offering classic retro visuals and a storyline blending past and future. This idle RPG features persistent character progression, even offline, with a focus on vertical idle gameplay and straightforward mechanics.

Gameplay and Features:

Players enjoy customizable heroes through job changes and ability combinations. Team-oriented players will appreciate the team dungeons and world boss battles. Guild features include crafting and intense guild-versus-guild combat. Extensive customization options are available, ranging from Monkey King and Pirate Hunter themes to futuristic Azure Mech outfits.

A Familiar Feeling:

The game's title and gameplay strongly resemble MapleStory. The developers openly acknowledge Maple Tale as a tribute to Nexon's original. However, the similarities raise the question of whether the homage has become a near-replication. We encourage you to play and form your own opinion.

Availability:

Maple Tale is available now for free on the Google Play Store. While you're at it, check out our other news, such as the mobile release of Bethesda Game Studios' The Elder Scrolls: Castles.
