The Tawakkalna Emergency app stands as the official application in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, designed to manage emergency situations and enhance community safety. Developed by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), it has been instrumental in curbing the spread of COVID-19 across the nation.
Initially launched to facilitate relief efforts, Tawakkalna played a crucial role during the "Curfew Period" by electronically issuing permits. These permits were essential for both government and private-sector employees, as well as individuals, helping to control the spread of the virus by limiting unnecessary movement.
As the situation evolved into the "Return with Caution" phase, the app introduced new services aimed at ensuring a safe return to normalcy. One of its standout features is the ability to display users' health status through a system of color-coded indicators, maintaining the highest standards of security and privacy.
