BASE is an innovative app that leverages the excitement of football to enhance learning experiences in schools. Designed as a partner tool for educators, BASE transforms the daily classroom routine by infusing it with a dynamic and engaging learning environment where children can absorb educational content through play. The app's initial phase is structured like a sports tournament, divided into three seasons. Each season comprises four levels of competition: Regional, National, Continental, and World, along with a Pre-Season. These tournaments feature varying numbers and difficulties of questions, which are referred to as matches, making the learning process feel like a thrilling game.
BASE employs gamification techniques to maintain and boost children's interest. Players can earn coins, points, and trophies as they progress, adding an element of fun and motivation to their educational journey. The content for BASE has been meticulously developed by the team at the Vini.Jr Institute in collaboration with the faculty of the Paulo Reglus Neves Freire Municipal School. This educational technology is tailored for the early years of Elementary School, specifically targeting students from 1st to 5th grade, aged 6 to 10. By using the universal appeal of sport and the power of technology, BASE aims to captivate young learners and make education more accessible and enjoyable.
All questions within the BASE app adhere to the guidelines of the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), ensuring that the educational content aligns with national standards. This focus on structured, curriculum-based learning combined with the interactive nature of football-themed gameplay makes BASE a unique and valuable tool for enhancing education in the classroom.
